into the wild

i watched the movie into the wild tonight.
it's possibly one of, if not the, most beautiful movies i have ever seen. it inspires you. which is key in good films, but it really made me fall in love with the story. the main character was so honorable. which i think is kinda rare. i mean, sometimes they start bad and turn good. but christopher mcandless (alexander supertramp) was an amazing person from start to finish. he is really a pure character. and there is something so warming about his adventure. the movie has a lot of deep, beautiful quotes and readings. it also has God mentioned in it a few times. and when God is mentioned it's in very uplifting ways. the story is true, too.

i have to read his book he wrote.
it really is beautiful.
